The agreement will see U.S. businessman Thomas Di Benedetto purchase AS Roma was signed, subject to regulatory approval.
Di Benedetto - which is also a partner in the New England Sports Ventures, the owner of Liverpool and Boston Red Sox - is taking over the club in the Sensi family, and made the announcement at a Boston news conference.
Reports say the group, whose ownership is divided among 60 to 40 Di Benedetto and the Italian bank UniCredit, bought 67% of the club for an amount of 70.3 million euros (£ 62.2million).
